For Installed Base projects (equipment behavior folders, component replacement folders, regulatory reference folders, specific folders) and major projects (EPRTM OL3, TSN, FA3, UK, EPR2) or research and development projects, we are looking for a mechanical engineer for mechanical design and justification studies in the “Primary Components” department capable of supporting the following activities :

Perform mechanical studies on primary components: vessel, pressurizer, primary piping, vessel internals, primary pumps, etc.
Specify or perform mechanical finite element calculations: pressure and external stress studies, fatigue studies, abrupt fracture studies, elastic or elastoplastic calculations, and calculation notes.
Participate in the design of mechanical equipment on primary components: tank, pressurizer, primary piping, tank internals, primary pumps, etc.
Interface with customers and/or security authorities.

Bachelor’s degree, Mechanical Engineer type or university equivalent.

You have a first experience in the following areas:

Mechanical studies in nuclear or other industrial fields.
Design of mechanical equipment.
Mechanical dimensioning by numerical simulation (finite element calculations).

Technical skills required:

Knowledge of general mechanics, structural mechanics.
Design of equipment.
Mechanical calculations by the finite element method.
Ideally, knowledge of codes and standards (RCC-M, ASME, ect...)
