Job description
As an Outage Project Manager you will be required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers’ site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
Main Responsibilities:
- Outage event schedule development, Outage execution management, post Outage reporting, and Outage warranty execution.
- Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation.
- Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment.
- Develop and further expand technical knowledge and expertise.
- Coach, mentor, and train customer team members as required to transmit and sustain specific field engineering and or product knowledge at customer site.
- Perform administrative function such as: writing technical reports, ordering materials, ensuring parts stock, obtaining tooling, developing specialty tooling, securing quotations.
- Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within Arabelle Solutions safety standards.
- Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer.
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Profile
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Advanced experience in the Services & Outage Management (Installation, Comissioning, Maintenance).
- Experience on Turbine-Generator and auxiliary installation and commissioning (over 550MW) and contract maintenance execution at Nuclear Power Plants.
- Proven project/technical managements skills
- MS Office Literacy
- Fluent in English (Romanian is a plus)

- Large Steam Turbine-Generator experience (550 MW and larger).
- Primavera P6 expertise.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong service mindset.
- Strong organization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
